The Church of St. Peter of Cetinje on Ivan's Korits (on Lovćen Mountain) is one of the most famous and significant recent religious buildings within the Lovćen National Park.

Character and symmetry with the old chapel: The church was built according to the model of the original Lovćenska chapel from Jezerski vrh (originally built by Petar II Petrović Njegoš, which was demolished for the construction of Njegoš's mausoleum). Construction on Ivan's Koriti began at the end of the 20th century.
Consecration: The temple was ceremoniously consecrated in September 2006.
Architecture: It was built in the form of a rotunda (circular church) of hewn stone, keeping the specific proportions and recognizable architectural silhouette of Njegoš's votive chapel.
Ambiance: It is located in the very heart of Ivano Korita, surrounded by century-old beech forests and spacious meadows at the foot of Lovcen, which gives it a special aesthetic and spiritual value.
Significance: It is dedicated to Saint Peter of Cetinje (Peter I Petrović Njegoš), one of the most important historical and spiritual figures of Montenegro. The church is a regular gathering place for believers and visitors to the Lovćen National Park, especially on holidays and during the summer season.
