Zekova Glava (2,117 masl) is one of the most famous and impressive peaks of the Bjelasica mountain. It is the second highest peak of this mountain (right behind Crna Glava, which is 2,139 meters above sea level), but it is certainly the most recognizable and accessible.

1. Recognizable silhouette and military/telecommunications facility
Antenna tower and facility: At the very top of Zekova Glava there is a large telecommunication station and a military facility with a tall antenna tower, which can be seen from a great distance and serves as the main landmark on Bjelasica.
Historical role: The building was built in the middle of the 20th century for military and communication purposes, and it still has an important infrastructural role today.
2. View of Pešića lake and mountain massifs
Viewpoint above the lake: Zekova Glava rises directly above the Pešić lake, one of the most beautiful mountain views of Bjelasica. The view from the ridge itself to the lake in the valley below the peak is considered one of the most beautiful motifs of the Montenegrin mountains.
Panoramic view: From the top there is an open view of the other peaks of Bjelasica (Troglava, Crna Glava), but also of the neighboring massifs — Komovo, Prokletije, Sinjajevina and Durmitor.
3. Accessibility and hiking
Access by all-terrain vehicles: A macadam road leads to the very foot of it and the top (from the direction of Kolašin via Bjelasica / Ski Center or from the direction of Beran and Andrijevica), so the top is extremely accessible for all-terrain vehicles, cyclists and pedestrians.
Crossroads of hiking trails: Zekova Glava is the central point of many hiking routes in Bjelasica. From there, you can easily continue hiking towards Pešića Lake, Ursulovački jezeri or towards the highest peak Crna Glava.
4. Skiing and winter importance
The area around Zekova Glava and neighboring Troglava forms the heart of the ski infrastructure of Kolašin (Kolašin 1450 and Kolašin 1600), so this part of Bjelasica is attractive both in summer for hiking and Katun tourism, and in winter for skiing and ski touring.
