The village of Dobrilovina is located in the municipality of Mojkovac, in the northern part of Montenegro. It is located at the entrance to the magnificent canyon of the Tara River, on the main road that leads from Mojkovac towards Đurđevića Tara and Žabljak.

1. History and spirituality: Dobrilovina Monastery
The most prominent and well-known feature of the village is the Dobrilovina Monastery (dedicated to Saint George):
History: It dates back to the Middle Ages, and the first written records date from the 16th century (1592). It was popularly known as "Little Morača", because its architecture and appearance resemble the Morača monastery.
Role in history: During the Ottoman rule, it was an important spiritual, cultural and resistance center of this region, which is why it was demolished, burned and rebuilt several times.
Today: The monastery is restored and active, surrounded by peace, a spacious port and natural greenery.
2. Nature and geographical location
Accommodation in the canyon: The village stretches along the left bank of the Tara River, at the foot of the steep cliffs and wooded slopes of the Sinjajevina and Durmitor mountains. Due to its specific location, the climatic conditions are pleasant, and the environment is abundant with lush vegetation and clean springs.
Crna poda: In the immediate vicinity of Dobrilovina there is a strict nature reserve Crna poda — one of the oldest and most valuable black pine forests in Europe, with trees over 40 meters high, some of which are several hundred years old.

Locals are traditionally involved in agriculture, animal husbandry and fruit growing (growing apples, plums and continental fruits), as well as beekeeping.
Due to its proximity to the river Tara, the monastery, the Crna poda reserve and the transitory tourist route to Žabljak, Dobrilovina has exceptional potential for rural and ecological tourism, vacations in nature and fishing (fly fishing on Tara).
