Boričje is one of the most famous and picturesque villages in the municipality of Plužine, located in the heart of Piva Mountain.

The village is located on the high plateau of Piva Mountain, at an altitude of about 1,200 to 1,300 meters.
It is characterized by an exceptional position at the very edge of the deep canyons that surround Piva, which is why the village and its heights offer impressive panoramic views.
2. Spectacular Church of St. John the Baptist
One of the most recognizable symbols of the village is the Church of St. John the Baptist, built in 1884.
It is located on the very rocky ridge/cliff above the canyon with a village cemetery in the immediate vicinity, so it is an extremely attractive location for photography and one of the most beautiful motifs of the entire Piva region.
